ABOUT US

Bel Calcio FC was founded in February 2023 by Nick Stephens as a 7v7 team competing in the sons of pitches Men’s Open division. The team was formed with quality players that stephens knew from leagues and pickup games throughout the city. The name “Bel Calcio” is Italian for “Beautiful Football,” a nod to stephens’ italian heritage. We strive to play in a way that embodies that name, dominating possession and moving the ball quickly to create chances.

In July of 2023, Bel Calcio player James Serrano formed our 11v11 men’s competitive team and Bel Calcio moved from a team to a club. Our 11v11 teamS ARE the highest level of competition at Bel Calcio. THE first team competes in the american premier soccer league (APSL), while the second team competes in the atlanta district amateur soccer league (ADASL).

In 2024, Bel Calcio FC earned our first two trophies as a club, with our 7v7 team winning league titles at both sons of pitches and silverbacks. We followed that up in 2025 with two major accomplishments for our 11v11 team: we won the adasl Division 2 league title and finished as runners-up in the perrin cup. We’ll look to add to our 11v11 trophy case in the coming years, both in apsl and adasl.

our original 7v7 competitive team is still in action, competing at silverbacks park on wednesday nights. we also have two monday night coed teams, one for experienced players and one for beginners.
